CALIFORNIA AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM ASSOCIATION (CAFAA) ANNUAL MEETING A SUCCESS; JASON KUKREJA RE-ELECTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

Palm Springs, CA (January 27, 2006) – The California Automatic Fire Alarm Association has completed yet another successful annual meeting. With over 250 professionals in attendance, gathered from across California and across the nation. Attendees took part in a two-day meeting filled with exhibits of the latest technologies, presentations and training by industry experts and networking amongst business leaders and public fire officials alike.

During the meeting, Jason Kukreja, CET, PSP, Principal of Jason Kukreja & Associates was re-elected to CAFAA's board of directors for a second year. Supporting CAFAA's mission allows Mr. Kukreja to channel his passion for the Fire Alarm industry and remain in touch with the changes facing the community.

The California Automatic Fire Alarm Association (CAFAA) hosts it annual meeting once a year in Palms Springs, California. The California Automatic Fire Alarm Association (CAFAA) was founded in 1970 and as its name implies. is a provincial organization concerned with the fire alarm problems in California. CAFAA's membership consists of fire alarm manufacturers, their representatives and distributors, fire alarm installers, registered professional engineers, building and fire officials. CAFAA's primary objective is to promote cooperation and understanding among the professional involved in the fire alarm industry. The association is represented on the National Fire Protection Association Standard 72. CAFAA maintains active liaison with the California Fire Chiefs Association, the International Conference of Building Officials, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, Western Fire Chiefs and other professional associations.
